When Worlds Collide

Painted over a recycled canvas, this piece incorporates pieces of shells across one outstretched are and a collection of rubbish collected from the same beach shore. 
 
The original plan was to create art using the natural resource of shells, but after a few beach trips and an overwhelming amount of rubbish I was inspired to create a contrast between the natural world and the tax of human carelessness.
